I was so thrilled when I came upon this little blog last night! Dana and I have been visiting Jalama Beach since we were about 15 years old, but somehow never knew about this darling family farm stand. I absolutely love their simple packaging, like the label and old apothecary bottle of this wild sage honey.
When you're driving down Jalama Road, you only come upon six or so houses the entire seven miles, so I wouldn't have assumed such a vibrant farming community could even exist in such a small place! But apparently, it does, and it reaffirms why Dana and I have always said that when we have enough money one day, we'll buy a little plot of land on Jalama Road and build our dream farmhouse.
Cool! *adds this blog to my RSS reader. I wonder if they do all the packaging/design stuff themselves.
Also, I have been visiting since I was 6! =)

Yes, we do create all the packaging ourselves. Erin is a graphic designer and has had so much fun creating the graphics for all the farmstand stuff. Thanks for the attention on your blog! — Jalama Road Family Farmstand

What a cool blog with gorgeous photos. Makes me want to find a farmers' market!
Looking forward to many long afternoons in rocking chairs on your future farmhouse veranda...

hmm..you should make a promise to all of your readers that once you'll buy that plot of land, you'll invite us at a glass of wine on your farmhouse veranda.. :)
